Biography:
Started playing guitar in 1987, started college for graphic design in 1989. I’ve lived a double life of being a musician in a handful of bands, and, as a professional graphic designer, for over 3 decades each.
Been an obsessed music nut since a little kid: it all started in the mid 70’s as my uncle’s best friend at the time was the Vice President of Atlantic Records, so our house was filled wall to wall with vinyl records, and, my cousin was a drummer. We had a HiFi stereo system and I was left alone with all that to explore all available music at that time. Then in 1987 I fell in love with guitar. At the same time I started discovering artistic skills and pursued that in college, focusing on graphic design.
By 1993, 6 months after graduating college, I started playing live in a band. Since then 3 different bands I played in had songs make it on radio one of which is considered the pioneering band from the east coast in the dub-reggae-rock genre made popular by the band Sublime. I had the honor of sharing the stage with legendary bands, toured the country and recorded on multiple albums.
In the world of graphic design, I am considered one of the “OG" Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator professionals in the tri-state region specializing in branding and advertising. I have done design work for major brands such as Sprint, Starbucks, BVW, Harley Davidson, AT&T, Verizon, Body Glove, Disney, Airwalk, and countless others.
